How to Transfer Your Bib
We have automated the process so that you can do your own transfers up until the change cutoff, which is typically two months before the race. After the change cutoff, we will try and accommodate the best we can, but by that point almost everything is ordered and booked. If we are too close to the race, we may not be able to transfer the bib.
Buyers - be aware! One of the best places to sell a bib is on the race Facebook group and you'll see a lot of people asking about either selling or buying. You are encouraged to contact us to check if the seller is legitimate. We cannot vouch for anyone but we can tell you if the seller is on the racer list.
Here are the steps you need to take in order to transfer your bib:
- Check if you are able to update your registration;
- Log into your Race Roster account and search for the race you need to modify
- If you are able to make changes to your registration (typically locked two months before the race), then update all of the info to the new runner, click Submit, and you are finished
- If you are not able to log into your account, or you are unable to update the fields (because they are read-only/greyed out), proceed to step 2
- If your registration is locked, please use the Change Request Form to send us the information. Please include the information for the person who is taking your bib;
- First and Last Name
- Gender (Female, Male, Non-Binary)
- Email Address
- Date of Birth
- Phone Number (preferably cell)
- City, Province/State, Country
- Emergency Contact name and phone number
- Shirt size (noting that after everything is ordered, we cannot change shirt sizes, but we'll try)
- Bios are optional
- Do they want their name shown on the racer list (yes/no)?
Note that RegShield purchase protection does not transfer to the new bib owner.
