The Divide 200 is nothing without the help of volunteers. Whether you want a remote checkpoint, a site where you can drive in, or helping at check-in, we have a job for you! We attract a lot of fun volunteers and this is also a great opportunity to meet new people.
For anyone who volunteers they will receive an extra draw ticket into the lottery for the following year for each 12 hour block. So 12 hours = 1, 24 = 2, 36 = 3, and so on. Yes, you can give your tickets to someone else, or you can volun-tell a friend to volunteer and they can give you their tickets. No, being a support crew or pacer does not count as volunteering, although it's still a great way to help the competitors.
All volunteers get a race T-shirt and other great swag, a $25 gas card to help with expenses (for drivers, not kids), a meal with the racers, draw prize opportunities and more. Most importantly, you get to experience a fantastic event and cheer racers on as they push themselves to the limit.
